Come Try Ringette

   COME TRY RINGETTE!

London Ringette Association is hosting a FREE Come Try Ringette Event.

The event is open to children born in 2022 or earlier (ages 4+). No skating experience is required. Snacks and fun are provided!!

When:  SUNDAY September 13th, 2026

         TIME:  On-ice portion begins at 12:30pm

(Please come 20-30 minutes early to complete registration and to get ready)

Where:  Bostwick Arena (Startech.com Community Centre)

What does the Come Try Ringette event include?

- An 90 minutes of time on the ice working with one of our older ringette players to experience how much fun ringette can be.

- Following the on-ice activities there will be a showcase game where parents and children can watch one of our London Lynx teams show how fast and exciting this great sport can be. 

- There will be plenty of opportunities to have any questions answered by London Ringette Association Coaches and Volunteers.

What to bring: 

A CSA approved Helmet (but a bicycle or ski helmet will do), Skates, Gloves/mittens

We will have sticks available to borrow for use during the event.

What is the sport of Ringette?

Ringette is a fast paced team sport played with skates on ice.  Ringette originated in Canada in 1963 and is predominantly played by women and girls. 

Players use straight sticks to pass and shoot a rubber ring into the opposing team's net.
